I have been here twice within the past few months and it has become my new favorite date spot to go to with my wife. Great food, service, and ambiance. Huge plus the restaurant is right along a beautiful river. Fantastic spot. No pictures of food because it was that good to eat there was no pausing.

La Connor is such a lovely place to visit and it's wonderful that there is an equally lovely restaurant, Nell Thorn. There were three of us and we were seated at a booth by the window with a nice view of the river. Our server was very bright and attentive, which made the experience even better. My friends had the fish and chip - the chips are so crispy and delicious (yes, I stole a few) and the chicken sandwich. I had the beet and blood orange salad, which was fabulous, really the best salad I've had in ages. Oh, and there's a parking lot for the restaurant which is very convenient, especially given that La Connor is a notoriously difficult place to find parking. Highly recommended.

Everything is cooked from scratch and tastes like it: very fresh, original flavors. The excellent sourdough bread is in such demand that they charge extra (6) for a bowl at your table. We had the beet salad, with chicken, for a hearty lunch.

We had a great dinner! The bread, caesar salad and Bolognese were perfect to share! That saved room for the sticky toffee pudding and it was amazing!!

Still out absolute. Favorite restaurant in western Washington. Unbeatable quality, service and cleanliness. They changed their menu daily as all ingredients are locally sourced from around Skagit valley and we have driven up to La Conner multiple nights in a row to not miss out on some of their specials. I cannot recommend Nell Thorn enough. They are simply the best in every single way.

Always an incredible meal here. I've had the same server here every time (longevity of staff is an excellent sign) and the food has been spot on every time. Highly recommend, worth the expense.

5 stars isn't enough for this place. The view, the atmosphere, the service, and the FOOD are all amazing. My husband and I passed through La Conner for the day while we were in Washington for a wedding and stopped here for an incredible lunch experience.

I've always wanted to explore LaConner and am glad we did and made reservations for lunch here. We arrived early, and they happily seated us. Everything was just A, from the moment we stepped in to when we left. I had the waygu burger. Every single bite was absolutely heavenly. Glad, I opted for a side salad as I still had for dessert, Apple tart with a scoop of their home made vanilla ice cream. My husband had the vongole e salsiccia, he cleared. The freshness and presentation of all the dishes we had was just above and beyond. Michelin stars I'd give if I could. And we have eaten at quite a few in Europe. We will definitely be back and bringing friends and family.
